Welcome to Meadville, PA!
Located in northwestern Pennsylvania, Meadville is situated 84 mi (135 km) north of Pittsburgh and 34 mi (54 km) south of Erie. Meadville has many attractions to entertain and draw visitors to the town including the Thurston Classic Hot Air Balloon Event, which is an annual event held on Father—s Day weekend, highlighting balloons from around the world. Travelers can also take in the many museums that are in the town, ranging from the Baldwin Reynolds House Museum, a four story historic home that once belonged to a supreme court justice, to the Johnson-Shaw Stereoscopic Museum, which collects and exhibits stereoscopic art, photography and equipment. For travelers wanting to experience the outdoors, Meadville is close to the Erie National Wildlife Refuge, which stretches out for 8,777 acres (3,552 ha) and houses more than 300 species of birds, mammals and amphibians.
Tourist Attractions

Built in 1843 as the retirement home of Supreme Court Justice Henry Baldwin, the Baldwin-Reynolds House is a four story home that in 1963 became a museum.
